What the Fork?

The other morning I was loading things into the back of my truck. When I was done I noticed atleast 50 forks stuck in Aunt J's lawn. Each fork had a cut out piece of neon note card stuck to it with sayings like "Einstein had awesome hair","I am a sailboat lets go swiming" "I wish I had a mustache", "I like your face". Look at the one below...

At first I thought someone got the wrong house while asking someone to prom in the zany was teenagers do. But it did not seem like that. There were 3 different styles of handwriting. And everything was so random. A couple was walking by and stopped to check out the lawn art. I had not noticed but the artist had wrote PEACE on the grass with the forks. "Hmm, maybe it was one of Aunt J's grand kids", is all that I could think.
But no.
She came downstairs and asked me if I knew who did it. I told her I figured it was someone she knew. "Well, I think it's great" Aunt J said. " I think we should leave it up for a while."

I am very intrigued to know the story behind this. But who ever did it, it made my day.

Bad Ass Ladybug....

This was a bad ass Ladybug. Carmen and I met her up in the grove. It was nice day for a walk n' talk.

Symbolic meaning of the Ladybug:

Album of the season:
The Grails “Doomsdayer's Holiday”
This album makes you feel as if you are on a Doomsday Holiday. Today was a holiday for a friend and I as we forged our way to higher elevation. It was Dooms day to get enlightened and buy new Tarot. It was G’s day to open the door and embrace tall earth. It snowed and the mountains looked like they had been dusted with powdered sugar. We had an old fashioned umbrella, more like a dome to hide us from the kamikaze snowflakes. It was a good gray brilliant kind of wizard day. Today was my doomsday holiday
The thing with this album is that the songs are so fucking sexy, lusty, hip moving, dreamy, snake charming and dark, it kind of blows your mind. Everyone has his or her own shade of blues. I have been grooving on the blues for some time now. Grails album has two blues songs. Reincarnation Blues and the Predestination Blues. Their interpretation of blues through music is mind blowing.
